About the Peppers The Texas Chilly Peppers is a USFS Open Adult Synchronized Skating Team that was established over 15 years ago in Dallas. The team is composed of accomplished competitive skaters as well as advanced recreational skaters. The average age of the team is 36, although the age range is from 21 to 46. The Chilly Peppers have won various awards including the title of ISI National Adult Synchronized Team Champions.
The Peppers compete in
the Adult Open division in US Figure Skating qualifying and national
competitions. Teams consist of 8-12 skaters. All skaters must be
19 years or older.
The Texas Chilly Pepper's home rink is the
Dr. Pepper Star Center in
Farmers Branch, TX.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE The season typically begins in September and usually
runs through March or April. See Schedule page for date
detail. When: 8:15 PM -10:15 PM Tuesdays; 8:15-9:00
off-ice, 9:15-10:15 on-ice Practice Attire: Black skating pants and top,
tennis shoes, hair pulled back
The Texas Chilly Peppers are members of the
Stars Figure Skating Club of
Texas.
